My hubby and I are huge fans of the Nerdist podcast, and when I bought him tickets to see it live for Christmas, I decided I wanted to bring Chris Hardwick (host of Nerdist, he's also the host of Talking Dead and bunch of other things).  I thought a quilt would be fun and I sketched out the logo for the podcast on graph paper and planned how to do it.  I severely underestimated how long it would take to cut and assemble all of those squares, so the quilt ended up square instead of rectangle like I planned it.  It measured 70X70 before washing
It's backed in blue flannel (as close to a Tardis blue as I could find) and bound in black with stars on it (forgot to take a pic of the binding as I spent the 8 hr car ride to the show hand sewing it to the front).  I was able to give it to him after the show - and I think it was well received.  Unfortunately, only one picture of him with the quilt turned out - and none of the ones with me in it turned out

Thanks Always!  It was all sort of a blur to me.  I got to hug him and one of the other guys on the podcast was like " you're giving that to us?" I got a label made on etsy to sew on it.

Thanks Wagonswest and Maremare

I was a fan from Singled out to Maremare.  The podcast is good -- can be foul language heavy, but they have some great guests on and Chris is a great interviewer
