Hello fabric lovers!  Who is up for...
A Fabric Crafty Scavenger Hunt!

SWAP DETAILS: In a crafty scavenger hunt you have categories each participant must interpret and fulfill with crafty items.  The categories definitions are up to you and your own interpretations.  Your package must include 7 items, one for each of the categories.

One item per category - no single item can do double-duty and count for two categories. However, if a particular item does work for two categories and having two of them would be pleasing to the recipient, then two may be sent. The exception to that would be if it's a pair of something where having only one of the pair would be useless. If it's a pair, the pair can only count for one category. For example, a pair of blue mittens cannot count for something blue and something that starts with the letter M. However, sending two blue mugs, one for the blue category and one for the letter M category, would be allowable.

The Categories Are:
1. Something local
2. Something green
3. Something vintage
4. Something tiny (under 2")
5. Something sharp
6. Something round
7. Sender's choice

*We will be exchanging 7 smalls.
*Five of your 7 items must be related to fabric or fabric crafts.
*You can craft or shop to fulfill categories, but at least two items must crafted.
*You will fulfill at least one category with a yard fabric.  The yard of fabric can be derived from a single piece, fat quarters, jelly roll, charms, etc., just as long as it equals one yard.

This looks fun, but a couple clarifications please...
1.  Is this ALL fabric, fabric and sewn items or fabric and any crafted or purchases items?
2.  One yard for One item (1 yard plus other items) or one yard total in various cuts spread out over several items (1 yard total), or one yard for each item (7 yards total)?
3. Sharp fabric?  Really?

I LOVE the questions on the questionnaire.  If I understand the rules, I am likely to sign up just for those!

heehee, yeah I was wondering if those were just categories pulled from another scavenger hunt swap and not really specialized for this one?

*We will be exchanging 7 smalls.
*Five of your 7 items must be related to fabric or fabric crafts.
*You can craft or shop to fulfill categories, but at least two items must crafted.
*You will fulfill at least one category with a yard fabric.  The yard of fabric can be derived from a single piece, fat quarters, jelly roll, charms, etc., just as long as it equals one yard.

At least 5 items should be related to fabric crafts or fabric that would include all items that might be used to craft with fabric so for something sharp, things like scissors, needles, rotary cutters OR if you want to push the boundaries I suppose even holders or cozies for said items would all count.  OR make that category one of the two that doesn't have to be related to fabric or fabric crafts.

Its one yard and you are only required to fill ONE category with fabric.  It can be in quarters or 1/2 yards but it has to total 1 yard at least

At least 2 items should be crafted; the rest can be bought if you so prefer.

You would end up sending 7 items TOTAL, 1 of those items should be one yard of fabric, 5 of those items should be related to fabric crafts in some way, and 2 of which should be crafted.  Does that make sense?

And yes, while I got the category ideas from other scavenger hunts, I chose these specifically for this swap.

Sorry folks for the confusion.  I am going to highlight the stuff that I quoted above in the first post, so others can find it more easily.

Oh and I cannot take credit for the brilliant questionnaire.  That was pinkleo's doing.  I just copied most of what she wrote for the first one that she organized.

3. Sharp fabric?  Really?

What came to mind when I saw that was something sewn or a sewing product that has a relationship to "sharp" such as:
Themed fabric prints with scissors and needles in the design
Sewing snippers (nippers?) (those tiny, sharp-nosed scissors for cutting threads)
   Pincushion
   Scissors cover
