I made this hoop for the ongoing pinterest swap.  I printed the lyrics on the fabric with the my partners favorite line big on top.  Then I outlined the line in black with back stitch.

Thanks!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! I love the look of this. The font is great and the black embroidered outline adds the perfect touch.

This was our wedding song but I'm not biased at all Smiley.

My husband is a truck driver so that song has a special place for me too!  I need to make one for myself now or I will just pin it and home someone makes me one =)

This is really striking!  love it.  The lettering is great.

What method did you use to print on the fabric?

Thank You!

I cut fabric to the size of printer paper and used spray adhesive to glue the fabric to card-stock and put it through my printer. This has opened a whole new world of embroidering to me.  I am horrible at tracing so I stuck to patterns I can iron on but this makes it so much easier, I've used it a few times now and I love the results.

Gorgeous! I'll have to keep that method in mind for printing on fabric - I hate tracing too, and I never would have thought of running my fabric through the printer like that. Thank you for sharing!!

Oh, I love that song! And I positively love your hoop! Good tunes!

And I am fascinated with this printing on fabric business. What kind of printer do you need to have to do this? Does it matter?

That's one of my hubby's favorite songs.  We don't get to spend a ton of time together because of work.  It is meaningful.  This  is awesome!  great job!
