I made this for the  IYP swap my partner likes labyrinth and its one of my all time favorite movies so I had to make something labyrinth inspired. So I freehand painted the owl onto a box I had painted pink then blue then black over that then scratched the black paint up while it was wet it to give it a cool look all over then I painted on the owl and movie quote " I move the stars for no one" with acrylic star gems glued all over the lid Cheesy I am pretty proud about how it turned out without drawing out the design first or anything.

Very sweet!  I like the scratch technique and the owl is fabulous!
