I used 5 hexagon motifs from Beyond the Square: 30, 35, 37, 48, and 50. Ive slightly modified some of these, to make them closer to the same size.  I think all 5 different hexagons are shown in the last picture.  The border is two rows of hdc.

I used entirely stash yarn (mostly Impeccable with some Patons) and only purchased 1 skein to finish the borders.

66 completed hexagons and 11 finished skeins!  It's about as big as my full size mattress!  Smiley Smiley

Kudos to you - this is so pretty!  I was surprised to see it was almost all scraps as the colors go so well together.

The majority of this yarn was bought to do Thanksgiving and Halloween wreaths, so a lot of the colors matched in the sense that they were autumn-y colors!  That's the reason I set out to do the blanket in the first place, I had probably about 10 half skeins in colors that I wouldn't normally choose for other projects!

I keep wanting to try a ripple afghan, but I seriously get so antsy to finish...I feel like it would take forever!  I do love the way they look though!  Cheesy
