I've finished up one.  One to go.  Gonna wait to send until I can take them both to the post office at the same time.

Ooh!  I can hardly wait!  I've got ideas drawn up but haven't applied them to felt yet.

I finished two badges while traveling this weekend. I think I like the second one better for sending to luck dragon. Hopefully I can take some pictures and get it to the post office tomorrow after work

Oooh my wonderful fiance has just sprung a surprise on me! We are going away to Cornwall for a couple of days  and I am allowed to take some craft stuff with me! I will finish my badges there but I may not be active on the interwebs so fret not I haven't abandoned you!

Right now I'm off to pack

In my exhaustion from traveling, I forgot to mention last night that while I was in CA, I found a fabric shop that sold a wool blend felt. I never planned on ordering any, but after feeling it, I couldn't say no with it right there in front of me. So the second badge I made for luckdragon was more awesome in multiple ways. I really like it..... might have to make a copy for myself

I finally got around to cutting out the different pieces of the badges in freezer paper.  Tonight I will iron them on and cut them out....I can iron on the wool blend felt right?

I ironed with the acrylic felt.  I just used a low temp (with my small headed tube sealing iron.  But one of those small head ones made for quilting will work great too.  A big iron works fine too, especialy if the badge is flat.) and a cloth between iron and felt.  So yeah, you can iron the wool.  But I would still use a 100% cotton press cloth if it were me.
