Thanks for posting the Giantdwarf Etsy link, Limeriot. I've ordered a pack of her wool-blend felt. Most of what I have in my stash is about 20 years old or more, so it's time. I'll use it up in practice badges.

Welcome, suereal - I knew you wouldn't be able to pass it up! We should have a contest to try to guess what the topics on suereal's list are. I would say "eyeballs" and "monsters" but her imagination far outstrips mine and I can't get any further than that.

I love these massive swaps, though I would never, ever want to organize one. Just anticipating the gallery has me excited!

Leslie! That carrot is absolutely adorable. Wouldn't it be cute to do a whole root veggie series like that? You could make them magnets or maybe sew them onto a grocery tote. Thanks for the inspiration.

I made a little sample today too. It was fun! I'll share a picture of it later.

Here is the practice badge I made today. I stitched it up for my hubby while he was out doing chores in the yard and I was on the couch crafting and watching crap tv .



I think I want to add a blanket stitch around the dark green felt, similar to the way Leslie did hers.
