I've only ever worked with acrylic felt (yes, I'm a deprived child), and I've never really had a problem with it other than really small pieces.  Sometimes I use fleece for the small pieces.

I sent mine in! This is the perfect first post-baby swap. I've been itching to get back at one but most are too big to commit to with a one month old baby. Felt badges are the perfect nap time craft. Smiley

LimeRiot mentioned earlier in this thread that she has started seeing felt badges in everything, and I know exactly what she means--today I saw these cute vegetable garden cookies, and the carrot really spoke to me!  So I turned it into a badge!  I'm hooked!

It's made of wool felt and cotton embroidery thread.  The size is 2" tall by 1 3/4" wide.

Leslie, that is adorable!!

I just ordered some bamboo felt from etsy.  I mainly work with wool and wool blend felt so I can't wait for the bamboo felt to arrive  The colors are so yummy and they describe it as being very soft; kind of like fleece, but without the stretch.

I am so excited about this swap. Smiley
