Hey, I wanted to make a fake glazed window with melted wax crayon but I must had picked wrong the sort of paper for it. I used the waste of transparent cover for books (the one which has some glue itself). It didn´t work as hoped, but I wanted to keep the amazing "stuff" that came out anyway . I tried to fix it in a usual drawing paper ironing it a little bit, but the paper sheet curls up so if I try to make it flat the wax stuff brokens -of course.

I decided to scratch the broken piece and by chance I liked the wax stains Smiley. I think I could draw something nice and keep it as a nice background. I think that if you want to keep the wax it has to be thin, and if you like the abstract backgraund it generates you´d better need a thick one to scratch it easily. In any case you can reuse the wax!!!!!!!

Have you ever used this technique?
What sorts of paper keep the wax? Any idea?

Thanks for seeing and helping!!! ^^

Try wax paper, its sticks to it, and you can cut it into whatever shape after ironing.
