Ok... where does one get good felt for this? Lime, you buy alot of felt....

I'm just going to use craft felt, because I already have a TON of it and I don't have money to buy any new supplies. Will that be alright?

Probably pretty soon!

Signups: next day or two - April 6
Sendouts: April 30th

That's 3 weeks of crafting time but with 4 weekends in between. I think these should be pretty quick to do so hopefully that's plenty of time.

How does that sound? I'm open to ideas!

That sounds great, I've been itchin for a new swap!

Do they have to be made from embroidered felt? Would needle-felted badges be acceptable?

Sure!! Needle-felting definitely counts!

You're right Smiley. I do.

I buy my felt from an etsy shop called Giant Dwarf. It's called 'Fancy Felt' and it's a wool blend that comes in gorgeous colors and is easy to work with.

Thanks for co-orging with me pj!! You're the best Smiley.

I plan on getting the swap up later this afternoon.

I would be interested.  Do we have to embroider?  I am not real good at it, I can only do a few basic stiches.  I can embellish with other things though.  I have made a few of these for my 'fridge already.  I could not send out until early June, though.  Keep me posted.

Thanks

Awwww! I'd LOVE to do this one... it's just such bad timing for me (house renovations start next week) *pout* But I'll def be stalking! And hoping for a future round!!

Ditto - only we're getting ready to move and I've already committed myself to other crafty swappy stuff....  Undecided  So i have to limit myself or things will get ugly at my house.  But I'm DEFINITELY loving this idea and would be totally into it if we do another round!  (And I think we SHOULD do another round, don't you all?  Grin
