For the Scandinavian Craft Swap, my partner had mug rugs on the list of things she would like, so I made her this. I had most of the fabric from thrift shops and hand-me-downs. I thought the bright colors, flowers, and geometry went really well with the theme. I botched the fins on the wind mill a little bit since I forgot to consider seam allowance after I got that square together.... The were supposed to be squared off at the ends. Sad

The windmill looks great; I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be squared if you hadn't mentioned it. It's cute and I love the bright colors.

That is adorable! I love the bright colors and how you cut the fabric on the base of the windmill!
