These little blank book necklaces are constructed from recycled leather and recycled books.
Red:

They're blank. I'm not sure how they would hold up if you tried to write in them, but they look cute!

Blue:

Thank you everyone! I have been on the lookout for some green leather, but no luck yet.

Perhaps you could dye the leather to the right shade of green?

I love these tiny books. I have made a couple now, and am starting to get the hang of it. It's so much fun! Do you sew your signatures individually or do the "perfect binding" (glue the edges near the spine)?
