Ok, so my boy used to work at Greenridge ((They make those natural medications and stuff)) and one day he came home with a massive chunk of pure licorice. It's about as big as my hand.  Shocked

Now i love licorice! it might be because i'm dutch, but i just love th stuff. But this pure licorice is too much even for me! It's been in the fridge for a while now and every now and then I get the guts up to unwrap it and give it a tiny little lick. But it's too strong!

Does anyone know of anyway we could sweeten it, or make it into something? Huh

If you can't convince them, confuse them.

How cool!  I've heard that licorice, like the candy, is made from leftover odds and ends of other candy, the flavoring and color cover up the evidence (great uncle used to work in a candy factory)  Licorice.org actually has a recipe to make licorice whips!  Can't wait to try it myself! Shocked

O really? that's the same as black fabric apparently. It's just fabric that's been dyed and redyed a bazillion times and they dye it black to cover it up. Apparently black fabric is also thjicker than normal fabrics as well. Thanks for the site I'll check it out!!
