I actually made this as a "small" extra for a recent Swap I participated in with Leslieshappyheart! It was made from totally random scraps I had purchased in a few Scrap Bags from a quilting website. I had purchased three bags in order to get enough different types of blue! I now have a HUGE jar of all the remaining prints! I cut them at varying lengths and widths and used some white leftover cotton fabric I had and made this lovely pillow cover. It fits a 14 to 16 inch pillow form. Here is is displayed on my partners couch!

And here is the one I just finished for a friend of mine who loved the original! I bought a few different types of fabric by the 1/8.... There is enough fabric to make a couple!!! Plus a few extra scraps I found!!!!

I totally love it, CMB! You did such a beautiful job of sewing it, it's flawless! And it fits in with everything i already have just perfectly.  It makes me happy every time I see it--thanks so much for going far beyond the requirements of the swap to make me this awesome gift!!

What a beautiful pillow!  I've been wondering if those scrap bags were a good deal.

I loved this pillow cover!  It is so beautiful and showcases some lovely fabrics against the white!

You gave me such inspiration to use up the bits and pieces of my hoard of Kaffe Fasset fabrics...I saved every tiny scrap!

Thanks everyone! And yes those scrap bags are so cheap and you can do so much with them. Scrappy jewelry, pillows, applique... really the options are endless! I am making another pillow now for a sick friend who loved Leslie's and I bought 5 different prints at an 1/8th of a yard and cut strips at 1 1/2 to 2" and you could make at least 3 pillows out of that alone! So even if you don't want to purchase a ton of scraps you can purchase new fabric or even use scraps you already have!!! I'll post the new pillow as soon as I finish it this afternoon!
