It's been a long time since I've posted on the quilting board but a baby shower tonight changed that.  I started this quilt a number of months ago using different pieces I had left over from other baby quilts and had no one in mind to give it to.  Then friends of our had a baby girl a few weeks ago and I decided to finish this and give it to them as a gift.  It's got both flannel and cotton and I think it's a great size for a newborn (I also see now I should have ironed it before I wrapped it - hopefully the parents don't realize that too)

Just a few close-ups of the different fabrics
