I tried to find some dinosaurs or hallow toys for this project but had a hard time finding some. The ones i found at michaels were very small and like 6 bucks! Whuuuuut. Im still on the hunt tho i love this project!

keep your eyes peeled! i have since found some others at thrift stores and yard sales. reusing old toys is even better!

i used martha stewart brand I found at michael's. i believe it was satin all purpose paint in granny smith

Luckily succulents don't really need much water. In theory I would like to water him maybe once a month. Just pour a little water into the body. The plant will absorb what it needs and the rest will evaporate. But to be totally honest (and this is probably why all of my plants besides succulents die) I have watered it once since I made it. Oops! But for regular non succulent plants I would say follow the plant requirements and if it requires drainage, just drill a couple small holes in the bottom. Hope that helped!
