Hoping someone can through out some ideas.

I'm helping to throw a baby shower in a couple months. We're going to do the clothesline decoration with some baby items on it and pics of the parents-to-be as kids. The clothesline will be hanging over the gifts table.

The shower is in a small function room of a restaurant. The walls are brick. My plan is to bring the clothesline uncut to the restaurant since I don't know the measurements and cut it once I get there.

However, I am so clueless as to how to actually "hang" this clothesline. I've thought about a 3M hook of some kind (we're not technically allowed to hang anything on the walls but the 3M line of hooks come right off so it shouldn't be a problem) but nothing that I have seen would work (not that I think, anyway).

Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions??

make a pvc frame that will go on back of table.  then you can hang the clothesline from that as well as a banner on top.  you can easily cover the pvc with a tube of fabric scrunched over the frame as well.

just did a google search and came up with this:

as an example of a pvc frame.
