Holy cow, when did postage go up so much? I spent more to send the package than I did  on groceries this week! The post office better not lose it!!

Anyway

I received last week from littlebluegirl but haven't been home to post.


Inside was a decoupaged frame and a card - both look good enough to eat


LOTS of snacks and goodies as well as a scented candle


Unfortunately the kinder egg didn't make it in one piece. The toy car  inside survived, but my cat has since stolen, and lost it.

But this candy is new and different and must be tried right away! Great box, I cant wait to get my boxes and have my partner receive hers. THey should ahve an expedited shipping company jsut for swap pakages so they wont get lost in the shuffle and they would get there quicker.

I have received so much that I still have loads left. Best solution? My school finally installed a beamer in my class room. This was about to happen the entire school year, and in April (!) I actually get one. I told some classes that I would treat them, if I'd get a beamer before the end of the year. And lo behold!

I received the most thoughtful and beautiful package from Pilar Farmer. I was totally honoured to take over a beautiful feather collection and beautiful beach glass. She made a nice frame to hang it in. Unfortunately one of the jars smashed, but I'll replace it.


I learned  a lot in this swap and I felt really terrible that my package was not up to this standard! I've sent out a supplement package to add the craft that I forgot to put in the first one (I have no idea how I missed that in the box, but I was moving and maybe I was not thinking) and a thank you card.
