But you should have gone with the pickled onion monster munch. Feeding salt and vinegar/pickled onion crisps to unsuspecting americans is one of life's little pleasures  Grin Grin Grin

Salt and Vinegar? Really? Are they not a basic flavour in the US? I'd had some mentioned, with a specific vinegar, but I couldnt find those Sad I'd just assumed that salt and vinegar was as mundane in the US as here, so didnt send any other kind of s&v crisps :s....

so i went to mail my package today and must say i got sticker shock! Shocked i guess i have not mailed over seas in a while but when did the postage go up??? it is cheaper for me to split my package and mail it in two smaller boxes, which i will be doing. so i am re-packing tonight and will mail tomorrow. anyone else with sticker shock?

Postage just went up here, last week infact... We didnt get an awful lot of warning about the price hikes either (that or I keep my head under them rocks for far too long) Buuuut, quite excited that you're posting Smiley

On another candy related note, The manshape bought 'whoppers' from the international store today on a whim (My daughters dragged him in), and must say, US malt balls are well.... not so great. Gimme Malteasers any day! lol!

I love salt and vinegar and I see them everywhere here in the US, pretty much every gas station has them.

I received a wonderful Grin package from dfabbric yesterday!

Here is everything...

And she sent a lovely zippered pouch....

The fabric is beautiful.

The Cadbury egg and Nestle Aero bar are already gone! I can't wait to eat the others, especially the Wunderbar.

Thank you so much dfabbric!

Glad to hear that nobody in the US is missing out on Salt and Vinegar chips. When I lived in Missouri (about 10 years ago now) we had to make special trips to Global Foods to get salt and vinegar

So we already ate some of the goodies, the kids destroyed the kinder eggs, my boyfriend actually loved them as much as the kids did. He told me I should become best friends with Lilibet because he wants more kinder eggs and those mini Frangipane (delicious).

Here are pictures of what I received.

First the kids attacking the box   Grin

The whole lot

A close up, unfortunately the kinder eggs got crushed but that didnt stop my kids from eating them and enjoying the toys Smiley also there was a smudge on my camera's lens so the pics a bit blurry in the middle

I cannot wait to try that marzipan!

frangipane mix- YAY and look at those little jam jars on top left, so cute!

And my crafted item, WE LOVE HIM, Boyfriend already hung him up above our entrance door, he looks awesome there Smiley
