I have to say the Canada Smarties were interesting, pretty tasty though.  I don't like US Smarties so much, but if Im ever in Canada, Ill have to try the Rockets. I figured theyd taste the same as our Smarties too! I cant wait for my partner to get the package I sent.. I knew I shoulda sent earlier! lol

OH! MY! GOD!

I have just received 2 truly amazing monster-packages from scarlet_nights and declare her THE WINNER OF THIS SWAP. ( if this was a competition, that is Grin)

I'm totally at a loss as to where to start getting a MASSIVE sugar rush from! Everything looks so tasty and colorful and fun and I can already smell some of the the candy through the packages and honestly, I haven't been THIS happy ever since I first laid eyes on the candy shelf at an American supermarket Grin Grin Grin

Obviously, I am still processing and will have to calm down a bit before posting pictures.  Grin

I found this on a packet of gummy bears I was eating:

Made me think of this swap.
Is it like kindereggs? are we just not trusted here in the US with these specific gummies?

LOL - maybe because it is law that the nutritional information is posted on the box?

OR - and this would be karmically unfair - gummy bears have no calories for Americans!!!!!!!

I keep telling myself that because my goodies are from Canada, they have no calories. Especially the fuzzy peach, sour cherry, and swedish berry gummies, which I love!

I received!!!

I shirked all my duties today and was having a day in, which was lucky because I had to sign for this haul!!!

the only visible victim of postal violence  was the (probably adorable) chocolate bilby, but these meat crackers will make up for that. I have a feeling the hubs will really like a lot of these savory things!

TEA!

these seemed a bit rattly too, but that was to be expected. SO excited for these.

So excited for this coffee too. I am having a hard time resisting the coffee and tea, but I already have had like 3 cups today!  Angry

a medley of unique chips/crisps. I am excited to try the honey soy chicken ones. yummm

gummies! for some reason "choc flavoured babies" made me laugh out loud.
choco gummies sound really exciting though.

MORE tea and cookies. finding it hard to resist the kettle right about now.

All the bars! They used to sell violet crumble here. Why did they stop?!?!

cutesy chocolates <3 I love the chocolate frog! lol.

my crafty item!

I love my hoopla wall! The batik background matches my living room quilt perfectly too. look at those teensy flowers!

off to boil the kettle Cheesy

Thank you so much queenholly!

OMG I became obsessed with those chocolate "chico" babies and tim tams when I went to australia last year. They had so many awesome gummy candies!

I'm so glad my parcel got to loudxmouse safely!
The bilby was adorable - sorry! Hopefully the kinder eggs haven't broken too, but they are pretty fragile. I hope you have a great time eating (and drinking) everything! I really had so much fun shopping for you. Hopefully its a good representation of Australian snacks. The coffee isn't actually Australian but its from a lovely local organic shop so it should be good anyway Wink

The hoopla wall is such a great idea! I think I'm going to have to start one too. This was my first embroidery hoop though I'd been meaning to have a go for a while now.

Thanks for being so lovely and putting so many great photos up! I'd forgotten to take any before I sent the parcel off so it was good to see.

Cheesy

ps. lol Smiley glad you like the tim tams! That's my favourite way to eat them
