I've decided on a small and a medium so far... once I've finished them I'll figure out what I'll make next. Smiley

I have two things finished which are small in size but take forever to do. One is something I never tried before and I know it doesn't match the pattern I used but I think he's still pretty cute. I have a third thing finished but for a coat of varnish I will get to shortly. Annd...one more thing/set of things that I haven't started yet.

I have a question, when it gives examples of a large, it says 3+ hours, $30 etc. is that an either or? For example, if a project takes (exaggeration ahead LOL) 10 hours but would retail for $1, is it a large or a small? I ask because  mostly papercraft, and paper isn't too expensive,or a knitter might use a small amount of yarn but tons of time to make something? Still crafting full-steam ahead, but this is my first swap and want to know the points system in and out before I even look for a shipping box or finish crafting

Good question!  (Don't apologize for questions, this is what first swaps are for!)  That is definitely an either/or!  The three guidelines you can use to decide whether your craft is a small/med/large are time, size, and cost.  You can pick which one to work with!  I generally work with physical size and time input most, unless it's the rare occasion I make something pretty expensive.  For example, if I sewed a sweatshirt, I could decide by size (large,) time (considering the speed I sew at, medium or large,) or cost (probably a small or medium, depending on fabrics.)  I would probably say it was a large for size, but it's really a subjective thing.  It depends on what you feel most accurately describes your craft!

... Does that help at all?

I know what I want to make, but I cannot decide which materials to use and how it should exactly look. Part of the problem is that I do not have the right color of materials in my stash for any of the items I plan and do not have the time untill atleast friday to get to the craft store... Angry
