The link to the tutorial:

http://www.vibrant-designs.net/2012/03/ruffle-tote-tutorial.html

I haven't made MYSELF a bag in almost 3 years.  It was long overdue!  I saw someone else carrying a bag similar to this and thought, I can totally do that!  It is made of 100% cotton home decor weight fabric.  Lined in the same fabirc although the outside is interfaced in heavyweight fusible interfacing.  There are four ruffles on either side and a large fabric rosette on one side...it is roughly 5" across.

There are two large zipper pockets inside which are large enough to hold all of MY personal things.  The large tote inside is for my craft projects that are travelable...when I go to church it holds my bible and notebook etc.

I love the handles!  They are about 2" wide and I put 5 lines of stitching down them.

Love...

the...flower!!!

If you would like the tute, you can find it here:

Enjoy!!

Very cute! Love the race in the rose.
I just clicked 'notify' accidentally instead of reply, and then just clicked it away without looking at it. I need sleep.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

I put the link to the tute originally.  Really odd that it's not there!  So sorry that I didn't double check!  I'll put it here and edit the original post as well.

Thanks so much for all the compliments Smiley
