Hi, I don't think I've ever posted in this spot before. My 8 (almost 9) year old daughter is just itching to learn how to make a quilt. This is a picture of the first 2 patches she's made:

They are both made out of craft felt and she is VERY proud. On the green star she even stitched my name "Joey" underneath. She just whipped it out all by herself. Please let her know what you guys think and I'll pass on the emails.

Thank you all,

Joey

I have a daughter who is wanting to quilt so badly.  She wants to use my sewing machine though.  I told her when her feet can reach the petal she can do it. Smiley

Let's see.  The contrasting colors are great and her stiches are lovely.  I think she needs a little sewing machine for her birthday!  Nice job. Smiley
