I made this last night and I love how it turned out and wanted to share. This is a first hat of this type I made, only made 3 beanie caps before so def a step up for me.

This fits my 5 y/o. I used size I/5.5mm hook and this yarn http://www.joann.com/caron-simply-soft-collection-yarn-6oz/zprd_10105153b/ in autumn red

Cute, not just your model too Wink That flower really changes it from boy style to really girly.

I really like the look of this hat! Did you make this yourself or did you use a pattern?

thanks everyone!

I used a pattern I found on a foreign website, I will translate it and post here later on tonight. It is super simple and easy to make!

Here is a link to the site although probably wont do you any good as it's in czech http://www.mimibazar.cz/navod.php?strana=1&id=7657

Super cute hat!  I've made a baseball cap style crochet hat for my hubby and son.  Love this style.  This reminds me that I need one and so does my daughter.  Your brim looks nice and stable - mine always come out a little floppy.  Any tips?
