Hmm, googling isn't coming up with adequate answers so I turn to you craftsters!

I want to remove the zipper pull (not the slider) on my purse because I don't like the way it sits horizontally (I prefer it sit vertically). How does one go about removing such a thing off of a metal zipper?? I can't think of anything short of... cutting the darn thing off with metal cutters..??

Thanks for the wisdom!

Cutting with metal cutters is the only way I can think of...  I know I've seen some of them that weren't continuous, that had a little gap, that could probably be worked at with two pairs of pliers, but I think a small pair of snips is the easiest and fastest way!
