My cousin is pregnant and the first thing people ask me for when they find out they are pregnant is an embroidered onesie (this started when I made 6 for my sister when she was pregnant with my niece).

It's always harder when you don't know the sex of the baby.
My cousin and her husband have 2 dogs; an American Bulldog and a Chocolate Lab.

This is my first attempt and embroidering any type of realistic picture (normally it's more cartoony type stuff) but it turned out pretty well. It did stretch out a little on the Bulldog face but very minor. Any of you that embroider on baby onesies know, it's friggin hard to get it not to pucker or pull lol. Also the wording and heart look kinda wonky in the picture but in person they are straight.

So here it is....

Cute doggies!  Such delicate stitching - Great job!

ps) You could try using interfacing as a backing with stretch fabrics to help with pulling.

Wonderful! I would have guessed this was machine embroidered. It's so precise. I'm sure baby will love it.

Awww I love this!  I often refer to the dogs as our baby's "brothers."   Cheesy
