Hello crafty folks, been a long while but I've finished my big stitching project that I started ages ago.  Okay 2 years ago.  This was a kit that I picked up and have been working on it off and on over that time.  The last time I posted there was very little done and really it just looked like a big fuchsia blob.  Blob no more, I present my finished wizard... riding a... moon... wait how can even a wizard ride a moon in the vacuum of space?  With an owl no less?  Magic!  He must be in a magic bubble.... a huge magic bubble large enough to encircle himself, his strangely hedwiggish looking owl companion and his own sparkly self.  This guy must be gigantic to be cruising around on the moon... in space.  Anyhoo..

It was a pretty fun project, I got to use some new techniques that I'd not tried before, couching, making cord out of floss and making tassels.  Yup, the dude sports some nice tassels.  They are all the rage in the space fairing wizarding crowd you know.  The kit included blending filament and gold metallic floss.  So my man here is sparkly too.

Magic!
