They do hang and swing freely. They won't spin all the way around because of the design.
They are made from 20 gauge Aluminum craft wire and I had gotten one of those cheap stretchy bracelets, that was broken, from a friend, who paid $3.00 at JoAnns for it. It's one of those bracelets that has double holes, strung on stretchy cord and has that shaped dyed shell on it.

They ARE from Marsha Neal! I just LOVE this design!
I also LOVE to 'upcycle'. I use mostly second hand stuff, instead of buying new. It's lots of fun.
I should have given credit to Marsha in my first post... my bad. Cool design. I just made another pair using a bird carved out of some kind of shell.
