I haven't been here for a while!

Anyway, Here's the cool new earrings that I just made today.
C&C welcome
*UPDATE* Here's the second pair I just made. Used shell  birds.

Fascinating shape to those, do they spin? They look like they would.....

The color is so beautiful. What did you make these out of?

They do hang and swing freely. They won't spin all the way around because of the design.
They are made from 20 gauge Aluminum craft wire and I had gotten one of those cheap stretchy bracelets, that was broken, from a friend, who paid $3.00 at JoAnns for it. It's one of those bracelets that has double holes, strung on stretchy cord and has that shaped dyed shell on it.
I love them, too! Thanks for the comments.  Kiss

They look almost exactly like Marsha Neal's earrings in Step by Step wire jewelry; current issue.

Good use of adapting materials at hand.

I haven't been here for awhile either...
The earrings are lovely. I like how you recycled and use what you had on hand.

I enjoy making my own beads from recycled materials. Also, designing with wire.

They ARE from Marsha Neal! I just LOVE this design!
I also LOVE to 'upcycle'. I use mostly second hand stuff, instead of buying new. It's lots of fun.
I should have given credit to Marsha in my first post... my bad. Cool design. I just made another pair using a bird carved out of some kind of shell.
