This is not my work but the work of a woman I much admire. Here are just a few pictures of this woman's amazing work in cloth dolls. I am going to give this work a try myself. I thought you might be interested in seeing them. Check out the urls below to see more of her work. And do read her interesting bio.

Her work is incredible! I'm not much of a structured sculptor so I probably wouldn't be able to knock out a realistic figure with her bones and flesh techniques but I could do something fantastical. Maybe I'll try it some day. I'll look her books up at least.

WOW!!!  i'm working on a josephine baker doll myself right now...i'm pretty positive it won't come anywhere CLOSE to the amazingness of this one, though.  thanks for sharing Grin
