I picked my nearly-two year old daughter up from daycare at 6pm on Thursday only to see a big sign asking them to all wear green today for the St Paddy's Day activities (they'd had the sign up all week but the Mister had picked her up all week and kept forgetting to tell me.... thanks, honey!)

Well, she doesn't own any green clothes and even the supermarkets close at 6pm around here. And I didn't have enough fabric for a green dress so I improvised.... a white peasant-dress with green sleeves, hem band and shamrock (well, four-leaf clover) plus matching ruffled headband. I just used scraps of heat-and-bond for the shamrock.

Turns out she was the only kid out of the whole daycare who dressed up!  Roll Eyes
