I got a wild hair and started digging through the cedar chest that holds all mmy nice, handspun, sock and non craft store yarn and found enough yarn to make 21, new, unique mini skeins (15 not including the yarns I used in rd 1) not including the skeins I could dye.
So, I guess the question is, who wants a rd 2?

I love how you have your puffs stored in the jars loudxmouse!  I need to get knitting on mine.  but the yarns are so pretty in their little skeins.  I will post pics soon, promise.  Having camera issues.

Ok, finally got myself and my camera together.  I have some lovely yarns to show off from two of my partners.

These came from pugwash!  So pretty.    She tells me that a couple of the yarns are locally dyed.  Very cool!


The next set comes from loudxmouse!   Also so pretty!  She added little tags on each miniskein telling me what yarn it was.  What a good idea.  Wish I had thought of it.


I finally dug out my hexipuff project bag.  It's covered in cat fur, which is very appropriate for "Katster!"  I'm actually hoping to work on them.  It's so nice to have a small project that you can finish and feel like you accomplish something.  I knit socks, mostly and the just take so long.  I have about 5 pairs started, that I can think of (and there may be more)  I should just sit down and work on one project!  Oh well.  I'm the same way with quilting.  I have tons of quilting projects started as well.

If anyone is interested, I made myself a little hexipuff bag, complete with tutorial and knitting sheep fabric!  There are some things I would change.  You can see it on my blog.  If I shouldn't have posted something about my blog here, sorry.  I don't mean to step on toes or whatever.  Just wanted to share. http://www.somecraftygoodness.blogspot.com/2012/03/hexipuff-bag-tutorial.html

great idea jessie. I need to find a suitable home for my WIP puffs.

In other puff related news I have decided to switch to hexiFLATS after much himming and hawing and I have found I can crochet hook all the fluff out of the puffs through the corners pretty easily. Now just to de-puff 50 puffs.....

oh wow, I was just thinking about whether or not to switch to hexiflats.  good to know I can pull the stuffing out with a crochet hook.  I was thinking I'd have to undo the kitchner stitch somehow.

Tiny owl suggested the hook trick herself when I posed my problem on the raverly comments on the pattern.
