I have a 2 year old boy, and while making pants and shorts and shirts for him, who doesn't like to make sweet little girly things now and again? OK OK, so so far I've only made him a pair of overalls a year ago, but it's been a busy year!! So really, this is only the 2nd item of clothing I've ever sewn; a sweet little spring dress for a sweet little family friend. I got the pattern off etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheLilyBirdStudio) & it came together really fast. I'm glad I listened to my head and chose something a little simpler for a starting point, instead of diving in over my head like I usually do with projects. All the embellishments, like the rick rack and contrast piece at the bottom, were my doing though. I'd love to hear what you guys think!!

this is a better shot of the colors & the little strawberry buttons, which are my favorite part!
