True, and the plastic bag is from "Kikker" (=Dutch for frog), also a popular children's book/tv series.

I'm so happy Trevor finally find his way home Sam! I was afraid customs would keep him for weeks. Was the package not opened or damaged?

Here are the pictures from Monty's trip to Canada. It looks like he had a fantastic time and he brought back some lovely things!

First, the scrapbook.

Next, the souvenirs!

A really really pretty box, that took me a little while to figure out how to open!

Thank you kjlutz for being such an amazing partner and for looking after Monty so well!

Glad you loved everything becca, it was funny because I realized part way through the summer that I had bought patches everywhere and started to feel silly about having so many of them.  It seems to be what everyone has for souvenirs right now.

So I had to take a trip today to take care of some work stuff, so I took Bertrum along for one last adventure! (I've been stuck at work for weeks, seriously insane schedule - weekends, late nights, etc! But it ended today, first day of the second week of classes for the new school year! YAY! So I finally have time to finish up Bertrum's book and mail him off on Wednesday!)

I call this shot, "Dinosaur in Beret with Sunset".

Where were we? We were on the ferry "Spokane"!

Bertrum is quite happy that he is a guest, not a pet!

"Dinosaur nose with sunset and ferry"

Bertrum said the stacks made him feel like he was on an old-fashioned Cunard ocean liner.

Woah ... look out, it's a long way down! Four or five stories down to the water...

It was cold enough outside that we were the only ones not huddling indoors - WIMPS!

Bertrum made sure he knew where all the safety equipment was.

Though he was concerned that there weren't any dinosaur life preservers on board...

More sunset

Mount Rainier, the Seattle downtown skyline, and the WA state ferry "Puyallup".

It was truly a gorgeous evening, I'm so glad I had Bertrum on this trip.

Bertrum took this photo from the safety of my totebag. He got tired and cold.

Esme-Alice has left the building!

And I feel so empty now! What to do?

This is the amount of stickers after all my hard *ahum* work. It was a drama, halfway. All of a sudden my stickers were gone. I asked dad to buy me new ones, but the shop was closed. So I had to order them online. Knowing full well that somewhere in my room (that is, let's face it, a pig sty) I had one box left.
And, guess what? My extra stickers arrived and a day later I found that spare box. *sigh*

And, a spoiler picture!

It's no problem! You don't see them much around here so it's something a bit different  Smiley
