I was just thinking this weekend that I need to start getting to work on the scrapbook. I have a few more ideas for pictures.. but I really need to get started on it and add the last few pictures later.

Jay and I got ambushed into driving up to Longview Washington this weekend, to see my fiance's dad and cousin. We went to a river there, and Jay had a great time. It was overcast all morning, and then we got to the river and it cleared up immediately, and got nice and warm.

Loki came with us, and had a good time. I kept trying to get a picture of Loki and Jay.. but Loki wouldnt stand still long enough, and I didnt want Jay to fall into the sand.

Last weekend, we went to Grants Pass. Here is Jay hanging out on my parents back porch. We enjoyed the great weather and the sunshine. We forgot how nice it is to be outside of the city. It is so quiet and peaceful, when we werent working on Loki's puppy bed, we were outside enjoying the quiet!

We got a little bored of the quiet.. so we went out to the shooting range. I haven't been before, and I haven't shot a gun in over 15 years. This was the Josephine County Sportsman's Park, and it had indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, a Big Bore Range for huge guns, and archery ranges. It was really pretty. Jay stayed in the car and watched us shoot paper targets.

And before leaving Grants Pass, we had to stop at Riverside Park to see the geese and the Rogue River. Sunday morning we were wishing we went on the Jet Boats ( The blue boats in the background..) but it was too late at that point. Oh well, we still had lots of fun!

Ive been trying to get to Sahalie Falls the past few weeks, and Jay wants to help me make fresh raspberry jam.. and I can't send him home without a visit to Voodoo Donuts! We still have a few busy weekends, so I hope we can get everything in!

Have any of you started working on the scrapbook yet?

Should order my pictures first. But we had a very hot week here, and since my room is right on top of our house, under the roof, I just couldn't get access to my computer without melting. It's much cooler now, so time to get going.

Yay yarn and Ikea!  I think I'm even more jealous of Bertrum's trip than I was.

We had a lot of fun on our outing on Wednesday, but I haven't had a chance to go through the pictures yet.  My OH is brewing beer with Lulu today, so hopefully I'll have a few pictures to post from that, too.

I keep meaning to start it but I haven't even sorted through my pictures yet.  I have a tonne of work to do this week and then am on vacation for two weeks, so it looks like I'll be doing it at the last minute as usual.

EEEK!  That would rule me out, the closest IKEA is 450 miles away. O.o

I haven't started on the scrapbook yet, I'll probably do it over Labor Day Weekend, since I have an extra day off work.  Cheesy

Haha yeah me too... I'm pretty sure there are no IKEAs here, which means the closest is probably at least 3000 miles away.....

Today we finally made it over to the Byodo-In Temple in Kaneohe... it's kind of a tourist place, so it was good to have the excuse to take Aurora, or we probably wouldn't have gone!

As always, more photos on my Little Visitor Blog!:

EDIT: Okay, so I got curious about the IKEA thing, and it's true. There is no IKEA here.  The closest appears to be in Emeryville, CA.... however, google thinks it would be a good idea for me to kayak to Seattle, and then drive down to California.....

Mountains, please do! What a storis you could share with us, kayaking with that LV Tongue.

We have several IKEAs close by, but I have a SLR camera, and that's a bit too obvious to walk around with...

Wish I could share my pictures, but my computer has decided to make it impossible to upload the pics unto my PC. For whatever reason, he started uploading via Dropbox (no thanks) and has now changed the upload system. I just cannot do it anymore... If anyone knows what to do, feel free!
