No posts in between...and I have new photos/adventures already  Wink Well, guess I'm going ahead and post them anyway...

So Trevor came with me to Amsterdam today to the French cultural Institute to grade French exams. This is the building seen from the coffee bar across the road where we had a capuccino.

In the neighbourhood we saw this strange looking exhibition....about mushrooms!

Yes, mushrooms...

And then we came across this decorated bike. Not so practical for cycling I guess....;-)

Idlers, your little visitor is really getting the royal treatment. He goes everywhere!
Lucky him to have such a great holiday Smiley

Huh, running between school and lab I haven't had time to post these pictures earlier. These are from the last weekend.

I'm finally posting a few pictures of Monty (I found more than 100 on the computer...)

Here Monty is admiring the Steel Joint "Sculpture" at my school.  It's a teaching tool, but as engineers we like to let all the "artsies" pretend that it's art.

Here Monty and my daughter enjoyed getting up close and personal with a snow plow at "Touch a Truck".

I'm really behind on posting pictures.  This is from last weekend.  We took Lulu to the Arts Festival and to lunch at a local hot dog shop.  I can't seem to find any of these pictures other than this one:

I'm not a huge fan of hot dogs usually, but these were really good.  The one on the left is a standard New York-style.  The one on the right is called the Pittsburgh.  It has coleslaw and pierogi on it.

I love how both Lulu and Bertrum are focusing on the food portions of their visits.  Grin Grin Grin

What a lovely waterfall!

I accidentally found a geocache with Riki the other day... I really have to link you to all her "finds" because there's usually a photo when Riki caches with me.

Thursday - After my physical therapy appointment this week I discovered a new cache pretty much outside the door. Neat!

"Zoo" visit - Mom is a closet cacher... She doesn't like the tech part of it, but she really enjoys finding them. We both visited my sister and decided to go for an evening walk with some cache-finding. Mosquitos everywhere, and she wore shorts... But she wanted to find a chache so we visited this Zoo one. The treasures in it are supposed to be mostly animal (they were mostly signature items... but anyway...), but I didn't have my swag bag with me so I couldn't trade that day.

They aren't back yet, but my OH sent me a few pictures that he took in Wisconsin.

Haha.  When I say fearsome beast, I actually mean princess.  That is the prissiest cat I've ever met.  He sits with his front paws crossed.
