Just checking in...Ihaka and I had an awesome day yesterday learning more about fabric applique, have done lots of felt ones but not other fabrics so it was fascinating...that and playing with learning how to sew zig zag on the machines...so cool...  So we are all good, photos to come soon, my camera for some reason won't download them at the moment...I think it is tired.

Okay, time for a next round of pictures from England. We're still in Averbury, but outside the house is a beautiful stone circle. Bigger than Stonehenge (not in height though), but sadly enough people have rummaged with it, to an extend where archeologists don't know what the old circle really would have looked like. To top it of, the main road to and from Averbury goes straight through the circle as well...

A last view in the Victorian kitchen garden.

And so we dive straight into the circle (after some shopping with Esme-Alice *ahum*).

Love this picture...

Here you get a glimpse of the vastness of the circle, with a view on the road.

A stone, a church, bliss!

Another view. I do have a postcard for Lunamoine, so she can see the circle from above, but I was unable to show the entire circle. I can only show you some small parts. Quarters, actually...

But they are huuuuge, those stones.

And yes, more stones Tongue.

As a witch and (deep-down) gothic girl, I love graveyards.

With my favourite bird.

And the burial hill, which we did not visit, but it was a sight to behold.

And, when we drove back, we decided to stop by the horse again, and make some decent pictures.

I missed so much while I was away.
I'm a traditional letters maniac so I didn't resist and bought some wiriting goods in Umbria. A dip pen set, a seal, seal wax and ink. And Pox got to be the first one to try it Smiley

Nice! I'd make such a mess with dip pen and ink...

Also: Two weeks until vacation!

Jay and I are getting packed for our Alaska trip. We leave Friday, so I won't be on to update next week, but should have. Good update when we get back!

Hiya,  Ihaka has been having fun, and me too...we went to an applique class to learn more about fabric applique, I have done lots of felt but not this before.  So here are the photos.

I had some issues with the machine for zig zagging, shame...as had to unpick then use a different machine, which worked heaps better.   But now it is looking better, thank goodness, using it for a t-shirt for kindergarten Grin

I know it's been a while since we've last checked in.  Things have slowed down a little while I frantically prepare for my first ever craft fair!!! Smiley  Super excited about it too.  Mel & Tom have been big helps in helping me pick out colors and what kinds of Amigurumi to make, and helping me pick out the decorations to put on all the decoden stuff I've made.

All the pics are great!! All the LVs look like they're having so much fun!!!
