I was sitting outside with Monroe trying to enjoy the weather, and these guys came right up to my patio to visit. I grabbed Monroe and ran in the house. Yes, I'm a chicken.

Last week my hunny took Monroe out to the field with him. He took pictures but forgot the SD card so i'll have to find my camera cord to upload them, but until then...

Here's Monroe trying on a helmet, I tried to tell him it was too big but he wouldn't listen.

Now he's trying on the boots. = ]

Hunny said Monroe was such a big help in the field that they named him honorary 1st Lieutenant Monroe!

Aww look at how cute Monroe is in those boots! It looks like he had fun out there!

I can't stop staring at that pig, Foxy Sam.  He looks like he has chicken feet, bat ears and his slop chin makes him look like he has fangs.  It's also hard enough to see his body that it is easy for me to imagine he is just a big head Grin...I like Gordon...makes my day Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

So, like I said, we went to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium yesterday. It's more of a marine hospital than a traditional aquarium. They rescue, rehab and release all kinds of marine life. They do have some permanent residents though; typically animals too injured to be able to survive in the wild.

Here we are driving across the bridge into Clearwater Beach:

And it's blurry, but this is the famous little dolphin, Winter!

Here's a shot of one of the other dolphins, Panama, from the underwater viewing area:

And here's a neat green-screen shot they did with Carlisle:

(As always, you can click any pic for larger. And see all Carlisle's pics so far HERE in case you missed any.)

My friend is a tour guide and was doing tours for tourists off a cruise ship that was in town today. We rode along -

Those are great pictures Wildfyre--your son mush be much gentler than my daughter--I haven't let her near Monty for fear of something terrible happening.

Millie is so excited I actually took her somewhere fun!  She had a grand time on our day-trip to DC.

Waiting for the Metro:

(It's dark down there, I'm amazed this picture came out at all)

A Monument!

(I may kinda spent the day in art galleries and therefore don't have as many pictures of Millie as she would like.)

Random Public Art:

She may be giving bad chess advice.  I couldn't tell who was winning.

Oh! I almost forgot. Last visit I made a specific point to get one with Carlisle and the Cars topiary since I remembered michelleanddbean saying her son was watching Cars 2 obsessively. Grin

They had both Mater and Lightning McQueen set up in Japan. Cheesy
