Love Trevor's latest pics, the tulips are stunning!  And love the owl fence, how awesome!  So here are a few pics of Ihaka's latest adventures:

It was a bit of a cloudy day but still warm so a lovely time to adventure out to the Kapiti coast and enjoy some ice cream whilst walking along Paraparaumu beach, Ihaka shared my raspberry sorbet...yum!

Somewhere official in wellington, couldn't resist taking a snap shot with Ihaka of the amazingly detailed carpet...crikey!
Before our grad started...

The beehive in Wellington, the parliament buildings...

1, 2, 3, 4, 5...blow the seeds and make a wish...

Ihaka met Ruby the donkey, lovely donkey and now a new friend!

Tuesday, Carlisle came with me and my Mom to see my Grandmother ("Nanny"), my cousin (in from Vegas) and my aunt waaaay up in a place called Inverness, Florida. It's over 70 miles north of where I live so it's quite a drive out to the middle of nowhere.

Here we are on the expressway heading up:

For some reason - I have no idea why! - there was a giant, blow-up Elvis in front of the courthouse building. Grin

Here's another shot of the Elvis:

(Click any picture for larger.)

I didn't get any pictures of him with my family since poor Nanny has dementia and I didn't want to confuse her with why I was taking pics with a stuffed penguin.

...and the lillies!! And then my camera died!  And then I couldn't find the charger for the battery...and then...well???  ...no excuses!!  Roll Eyes

Today we took Trevor to a Japanese charity party in a flower export company's greenhouse. Sugoi ne!

I think these were decorated for the occasion.

My husband (on the right) plays shamisen. Ikegaya on the left plays shakuhachi, a Japanese flute.

Trevor especially liked this yummyness!

And outside were some flowers. Really don't think Holland is only about tulips (I mean what gave you the impression?) ;-)...it's just the season now (until may) and in this region they grow a lot.

At night we watched the remake of "the Wolf Man" but Trevor really is not scared by warewolfs ;-)

Were we live our area is known for potatos, all the feilds are full of them and potato grows in a pile of black mud... I would rather be known for the flowers because how pretty to see them!
