That's too bad that there have been lost LVs, it's always sad to loose a friend.  I still miss Hellie who went AWOL many rounds ago.  I keep meaning to make a new helicopter, but it hasn't happened yet.  Maybe in time for round 17.

I'm finally uploading photos of the awesome package I got from Annchen.

A lot of information and cards from places Riki visited. The album with jewels is beautiful! There are also crayfish paper caps Cheesy

Some other souvenirs (the fluffy leopard plushy is so cute!) and two monkeys that came as travel bugs and will soon continue in their journey. I love the sea shells! The key chain is hanging on my school bag now.

Food! Grin The liquorice with strawberry filling dissapeared quite quickly, it was delicious! I can't wait to try the rosehip soup.

Those little bricks are liquorice and gingerbread caramel. I loved especially the gingerbread one.

And then this beautiful handpainted album!

Liquorice ice cream!

Some of my favourite photos..

And beach finds at the end!

I love everything and thank you so much Ann, the package was so huge and incredible! I'm looking forward to try everything Smiley

I can't believe flakers at the best of times but on an LV/roaming gnome swap it is even worse as you loose your friend...that is aweful!  Sorry to hear it is so prevalent that is terrible.

Lovely package from Sweden by the way...awesome, cool to see the beach finds... Grin

Crayfish season is another late summer party-thing in Sweden. That and Surstömming-parties. It really depends on where you live (Surströmming/fermented herring is more in the north). Crayfish parties might feature hats like that, or silly paper bibs (it gets messy to eat) and paper lanterns. Oh, and paper tablecloth and napkins with crayfish print...

Well, the newb way to eat sursrömming is as a sandwich, sort of. You use Tunnbröd (very thin, crisp flatbread) as the base, butter it, put slices of boiled potatoes on top, a bit of sour cream and small pieces of the fish. Some chopped onion or chives on top is nice too. Very few people gobble it down without at least a little bread and potatoes...

That way you don't shock the system completely with too much of the fish. Grin
