Murphy's law and all that...

I have been super busy thanks to that substitute job for two weeks. Than we had the big Aithne show (it was a succes) and when I had a moment for myself on Sunday, I pulled the last photo sticker out of its box.

That's not all, sadly... I will send this week, no matter what, but my grandfather is dying. They almost lost him on Sunday and he already received the Anointing of the Sick. Everyone left for work, but we are waiting for that final call... 93 is a beautiful age, but still...

I got fantastic package from phoenixfiredesigns. It looks like Carlisle had a blast. I'm going to have to visit Florida someday. Maybe I'll take Carlisle with me.
Glad Carlisle made it home safe and sound!!

Here's a shot of him packed up and ready to go. (I used a Mickey Ear hole punch and put "confetti" in with him to be fun.) All of his gifts were wrapped up by area so you could "unwrap" his visit as you went through the scrapbook.

Speaking of the scrapbook, I was really proud of it. First time I've ever done a 12x12 book!! So I took pics of ALL the pages of his scrapbook, so if you'd like to see big versions of them, check out Carlisle's gallery!!

I had so much fun these past six months with Carlisle!

Emmett just came home too so I'm working on his return pics next. Grin Look for those later today!

Aaaand, here's Emmett!

Here he is with his entire package. (The tote is my favorite item. It's really neat fabrics and even lined in white.)

Some more pineapple goodies & a Citi travel mug:

Inside the little paper box was this phoenix charm necklace:

A handmade washcloth (what is the pattern supposed to be? I'm having a rorschach test moment here I think! LOL) and a pair of vintage Mickey and Minnie plastic banks.

Pages from the digital scrapbook. "Take your elephant to work day" and going to the movies. (Fancy theater!) There was also a photocopy of Emmett's butt which made me laugh out loud. Cheesy

More pages: Emmett crafting and Emmett celebrating Easter:

Thanks, michelleandbean, I had so much fun hosting my visitor and hope you did too! Grin

Ellie had a great time with beccabadger.
She even came home with a new friend (and new very cute scarf and blanket too):

And lots of candy to share (they ate some on the trip home but made sure to save some):

She brought home lots of great souvenirs (a little note book (Which she has said I can use when knitting; a jar of jam they made (can't wait to try it), some fin things from the Olympics, some shells, and a very cute penguin bracelet:

They had lots of adventures and here are a few highlights (I love how Becca did the scrap book):

Thanks for being such a wonderful partner Becca, Ellie has talked nonstop about the trip since she's been back, she had a great time.
