whatever you crafted looks fantastic Idlers Design.

I am scrapbooking like a madwoman (I totally forgot how long it takes to do), and today I am at work, working... so not getting much scrapbooking done right now.

Bertrum and I squeezed in one last adventure tonight, as I had a 15 minute break for dinner!

You can't come visit Seattle without going to ... THE FREMONT TROLL!

The Fremont Troll is a statue that was created underneath the Aurora Bridge (Highway 99). Fremont is (well, WAS) a very hippie, free-thinking, artistic type of neighborhood (it's getting yuppified, alas!). More info on the Troll:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremont_Troll

Bertrum was very polite to the Troll, he didn't even mention that he could see up the Troll Nose...

The Troll is clutching a VW bug:

If you turn around from the Troll, you look down this little street that is under the Aurora Bridge.

And look - they named the street after the Fremont Troll!

Wink  I think Bertrum is part of the reason we've had such lovely summer weather in Seattle - 49 days without rain! Then we got 0.01 inches of rain on Monday morning (just enough to officially break the streak, and then it's been dry again since. SO I can squeeze in a few last minute outings!

Oh neat, camelama! I read a book that had that troll in it so it's cool to see a picture of the real thing.

He doesn't normally wear flourescent orange makeup/nails. Smiley  Usually it's just him, natural cement color.

Thanks for the extension! I need to find a box big enough for Carlisle and his goodies so glad I have more time. Plus, I need to wrap/pack it all up nicely. I'll be sending in the next few days. Sad to see him go home.

So.... when does the next LV round start?!?!  Grin Grin Grin

Teehee I'm wondering that too.... this has been so fun!!
Can't wait for the next round either!! This is always my favorite swap and it's so much fun having the LV around and taking pics with them!
I agree, I miss Trevor already  Wink Can't wait to show another visitor around!

Due to my unexpected work trip last week, Jay is still here with me. But, he is all packed and ready to head home first thing Monday morning. We have had so much fun this summer, and I will be sad to see him go!

Ive been to Seattle a few times, and have never heard of the troll! How cool- Next time Im up there, I will have to be sure to check him out!

I just sent Monty home, I'm really going to miss his company.
After I printed the photos we took Monty on one more adventure: a Great Big Sea concert in the rain.  Not only did Monty get to enjoy some great Canadian folk music but he also got to enjoy some miserable Canadian weather.
