In an effort to get good pictures of my crafts, I made this light box:

I used white cloth stapled to frames made of half inch square dowel rods.  I cut the rods in half and stapled them into squares, then stapled the white cloth to them.  The square panels stay together with Velco, so I can take it apart and store them flat.

I have lots of pictures of the process on my blog here: http://craftblog.rehtaeh.com/2012/03/home-made-light-box.html

And here the finished product, a picture of my hat:

That's my wine drinking hat, of course!

I love how you used velcro to make it store flat, that's been my main deturrant in not making one yet.

The wine drinking hat's pretty amazing too Wink

I totally agree -- the idea of connecting it with Velcro is genius! I have wanted to make one for a while, but had no idea where I'd store it.  This is perfect!

Pass the chardonnay!

Your picture turned out wonderful. I'm very envious. Nature light works for me but sometimes the weather doesn't work in my favor. I just use lights on each side but I'm still struggling with positioning them because you can see the spot light.

I love that your light box breaks down.

This is an awesome idea! I've been putting off making a lightbox because the size I want would be so hard to store, but this is such an elegant way of solving that problem. You are a genius. Smiley

Great design!
I've never seen one like this before.
I might want to try this out one day.
