Just got my package in today. An Apron and matching pot holders with awesome little pockets for my hands on the back. I was like OMGlob. I must show this to everyone. It's a little wrinkly, since it's right out of the box. Thank you so much Savagerose. I seriously want to wear this everywhere.

Aaah!! I'm so glad it arrived, I've only sent letters to Canada before and the lack of delivery confirmation was starting to stress me out. The wrinkles from me cramming everything into the smallest box possible should come out with one quick steam iron (you can put a thin piece of fabric or a presscloth over the embroidery just in case).

A couple quick notes about care (you probably already know all this): the material is cotton with cotton batting inside, and is prewashed so you should be able to machine wash it no problem (I'd probably wash it on delicate or warm...but I wash everything I own on that anyway). There's insul-bright in the potholders but I'm pretty sure that is also washable.

I'm glad you like it, I had so much fun making them! The potholders are adapted from a Martha Stewart pattern for heart-shaped potholders, I found I really like the way they stay on your hands. I also discovered by accident that if you drape the apron over a chair it looks pretty amusing:

I've been missing some cool stuff! I love the apron - LSP's the perfect shape for one. And going back a page, the LSP yarn bag is a great idea, and the Mee-mow in a pie hoop is brilliant!

I received my package from our fearless organizer, haroldlovesmaude!

I unrolled this canvas from out of its shipping tube and it just kept unrolling and unrolling... it's huge!! Check out her amazing painting skills, now proudly displayed in my dining room.



I wish I had some good close up shots, but I didn't get home till late tonight and it's dark, so none of my photos turned out quite right. Maybe I will try tomorrow if it's sunny... you should really see the tiny Finn lounging on Jake's back.

She also sent this adorable Beemo zipper pouch! I love him! So cute!
