Our oven has been broken for almost two years, and I was craving cinnamon rolls, which I never eat...but my mom had gotten one from Tim Horton's (shakes first at mother for giving me naughty cravings) and I wanted to make a raw version, but it turned into a cream-filled mini cake type of thing and better than I expected.

It ended up being a cold dessert and very delicious. I still would like to make a raw cinnamon roll heated in a dehydrator next though.

Ingredients for Cake Mixture 2 cups almond meal (ground raw almonds)
1 cup raisins (or a mix of raisins & pitted dates)
2 tbs orange juice (optional)
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla powder)

I just had one with some coffee. They are dense and full of flavour, so a small serving is more than satisfying, which is what I like about most raw desserts... I can't really over eat them as they aren't fluffy and airy like a timbit, in which I could eat way too many :s
Oh mah gad, now I'm craving a cruller. I blame my mom once again.
