My offering: scented rice-filled microwaveable heat packs with removable washable sham-style covers!

Fabric styles of the sham cover will vary, but the inner packs (as visible in the first photo) will all be white cotton. They're just the right size for warming your feet, soothing sore backs/shoulders/necks or menstrual cramps. And they smell nice (vanilla and lavender)!

There are some great offerings so far this round.  Heat pack, ahhhh.  I'm going to have to think a little more about what I can put together.

I just wanted to say that you won't be able to send the rice filled heatpacks into Australia or New Zealand because we are island nations and have very strict quanentine rules- which is probably a good thing because they would be heavy to send!

I also have a question to ask. I think you had better PM me your answers as somepeople may not feel happy to share publicly. (and don't worry, I won't be noteing down exactly who answers what, I'm just looking for numbers, I'm not particularly interested in your personal hygine habbits!)

So I'm designing the tampon/pad holders and  I have realised that most of the tampon carriers (and despensers) I've seen on here seem to be for applicator tampons (I think tampax is the main brand - the ones that come with the cardboard tube) but over here in Australia, no one uses the applicators.

Do I need to make the wallets tall enough for applicator tampons or is the shorter non applicator size ok?
Is it a generational thing or a national thing?! Wierd!
You don't have to be specific, maybe you could also let me know (if you know) what your friends or family member prefer too - keep it more general!
Also I'm thinking a mix of pads/liners and tampons. Does this work for most? I can always customise that at the last minute.

Thanks in advance  Embarrassed

ETA - thanks to all those who replied. Unfortunately I just don't have time to design and make the tampon/pad holders this round - I'll do them for next round. I'm now doing button hair accesoried instead.

I had not thought of international restrictions on shipping rice!!! Thank you for the heads-up!

If anyone from somewhere with that restriction wants one, I can send the bag and cover and the fragrance (it looks like that would be safe for shipping), and leave a small hole that can easily be sewn up by the most novice sewer, so you can fill it yourself.

That sounds like a great alternative.

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

I am going to be watching this swap closely - I have to finish the things for my two swaps I'm in now, before I sign up, HOWEVER, I like a lot of the offerings and I would be offering something quilted . . . mmmm - I'm going to go try to wrap up my current swap stuff!  This is a cool looking swap - If I cannot make it into this one, would there be another one starting next month (April), or in May?   Smiley
