So my group of friends and I got invited to a friendly Highland Games and decided we needed to be fitted out. In kilts!

Running off a basic pattern with some more improv than following the pattern luckily we're all awesome, just maybe not at sewing.

First there was the measuring and cutting

Then the all important box pleats that are horrid and we all hated making them

Then some mild fittings

Then we turned my lounge room into a mini sweat shop and we're all sewing out tiny fingers off

Most importantly the wearing, sorry about so much of the blue kilt, but it's what happens when it's yours, you end up with more photos.

Hope you enjoy. Too much work went into these kilts for just one night of fun, we're planning on wearing them everywhere

It's cool how you all worked together to get those kilts done. Plus, I really dig your Jessica Rabbit T-shirt. Wink

Your kilts look great! What "general" pattern did you follow? How did you hold them up?
Great job!
