I figured the easy version of the pillowcase to skirt thing would look a bit shapeless on me (no hips!) so I switched it up a little.  No, a LOT.  It took like 5 hours, but that's mostly because apparently I don't know how to operate a sewing machine.  Roll Eyes



Side view!  With buttons pirated from a shirt of my dad's that I'm hoping he doesn't wear anymore.  I am simply too lazy to learn how to sew a zipper in.



Hooray for skirts!  Of course, the second I finished it, the sky clouded over and we got a thunderstorm, so I haven't worn it yet  Tongue

I love the look of the...topping? Waist band? Yes. It's got the clean edge to it, but softly.
&The design is wonderful. Was it a long pillow case?

 i think thats ace - and the style looks like lots of ones out in the shops here in the UK at the moment - its REALLY cute - i'd love to be able to make one myself instead.
