I love the arena hoop!  Shocked Very beautiful  and I hope to make one of those one day myself. Smiley

Loved the movie, minus the overuse of the shaky cam as well. But everything else was fantastic!!!

I've got tons of new stuff in my store!: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MyWyldChild?ref=ss_profile

I received luckdragons package today and now feel SERIOUSLY outclassed! Every one of her items were so cool and so professional-looking! I feel very fortunateand so does my son. (Luckdragon and I were crafting for each others teenage kids.)

For starters, there was a lovely handmade card:

Then there was this leather keychain, representing District 13. (How did you get the image on the leather? I could not figure it out!)

Then there was this awesome leather wallet

Featuring a colorful image of a map of Panem, showing all the districts. (Really. Tell me how you do the amazing images on leather!)

The inside has these cool asymmetrical pockets and is stamped with the message, May the odds be ever in your favor.

Our favorite thing was this cool bracelet:

One of my sons favorite characters is Beetee, and the bracelet is a subtle reference to his spool of wire.

We feel VERY lucky to have been paired with luckdragon in this swap!!!! Thank you!!!! Super package!!!

Wow! So much cool stuff! I'm going to be very busy pinning when I get off work. I'll update everyone's profiles tonight as well. Thanks for the non spoiler reviews of the movie too. I was going to see it either way, but knowing a little about what I'm getting into helps me out. Smiley

I received from Tankrgrl today! She spoiled me rotten, and I love everything! I immediately put on my new bracelet, mockingjay pin, and a pair of earrings. The best part, the jewelry totally matched the shirt I am wearing today! Unfortunately we weren't able to make the movie today, but we have plans to go tomorrow afternoon instead. So, no spoiling!! Smiley

First: Everything together!

Next, a close up of the super awesome jewelry box. She pasted my favorite part of the book onto the inside:

Close Ups of the earrings:

The blue ones are nightlock berry inspired. The other ones are girl on fire inspired.

Close up of the bracelet:

The bracelet is a combo of the nightlock berry's and Peeta's bread beads.

As an extra, the mockingjay pin:

And, one super awesome thing Carmen did, was take some snapshots of Anchorage, because, the most super cool thing is she is living near my hometown and I miss it greatly. Thank you so much Carmen!!

I was really guessing at what size to resize the pictures to. I know the inside of the jewelry box is hard to see, but it's the picture of Peeta outside the bakery. And, my favorite part of the book being right after the Tracker Jacker attack, when Peeta saves Katniss from the careers and says "what are you doing here? are you mad? run!"  I was super curious to see how Carmen would incorporate that, and I love what she did!

Just got back from the movie and I looooved it! So not what I was expecting. I'm a huge indie movie nerd, and that's what it felt like I was watching. I guess I was scared that it was going to be all Hollywood. I agree that the shaky cam was a bit much though (and this is coming from someone who actually enjoyed Cloverfield). Jennifer Lawrence was absolutely perfect. I loved Peeta too.

I had computer problems but now I'm able to upload what I received from angelxwing!

I received a folded white rose, a time turner made with Peeta's pearls, a mockingjay coaster, and a shiny bow to add to my Capitol couture!

A closeup of the bow:

My hovercraft note:

and the note itself!

Thanks again angelxwing for a great swap! And look forward to your large item coming soon! I'm about halfway done Smiley
