I am in love and I don't mind sayin'

I couldn't wait till I got home so am posting from work.

Here is my incredible hoop from beth8144 - it is abslutely beautiful! When we first PM'd I said I liked marine colours and being here in Australia we have the Great Barrier Reef which is beautiful. And here is the outcome of said conversation:

look at that detail - it has an array of gorgeous stitches, some pretty fabrics and the way Beth has layered the fabrics gives a sunhsine patch on top of the water in the top left corner.

And something I have always wanted - a needlebook with a dandelion embroidery on the cover. It will be used alot I can see.

Anyway I am off to gaze longlingly at my beautiful hoop and when I go home this afternoon it will get a spot on my growing hoopla shelf. It is perfect - thanks so much Beth8144 for crafting something that I would absolutely love  Grin

That reef is incredibly beautiful! I would love to know more about how it was made. I'm completely fascinated by it.

Firstly the Reef hoop is amazing!

Now onto the beautiful package I have received from Painted Sparrow. I love the things she made; the hoop is already on my wall!

The full loot (well minus some of the chocolate which 'fell' into my mouth before I had chance to take photos).

A close-up of the incredible hoop. I love mermaids and fish so Painted Sparrow designed this angel fish mermaid. Seriously- how cool is that? I love it, all the little details like her hair and hands, and it is so beautifully stitched. Thankyou so much  Grin Grin Grin
Oh and I don't think I told you this but we have a tank of tropical fish and love angel fish so this really is perfect for me.
Also this cute needlebook- with a mantis on it - another of my favourite themes is insects;

My needles will be stored in style now  Grin

Thankyou Painted Sparrow for a great swap

Whenindoubtsew I am so glad that you love it. I hoped you would.

Love the angelfish mermaid. It is so cool she created a brand new species for you.

Haha! Wonderful! You hadn't mentioned that, I found a ton of tropical fish species that I liked & decided the angelfish would be the most striking one. Smiley

I am so glad you like everything! Especially the mermaid! Cheesy

How creative is making a whole new underwater species!! The angelfish mermaid is striking and so detailed. The praying mantis on the needlebook is also cute (but scary at the same time)
