I made these fingerless mitts for my Fabric Basket Swap partner Wendiek.

I wanted to depict some sewing aspect (as that is her primary craft) and thought of the spool and scissors motifs.
Cute, but not enough.

I ran a "thread" connecting the 2 gloves together!
I need to make a pair of these for myself!

(Bit of a wonky "action" shot. I had to have my 5yr old daughter sit on my lap so she could take the picture "right side up" Grin)

The mitts are knit with Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool and the details are done in duplicate stitch with stash yarn.

Well, mullerslanefarm, I DO love them!!!

They fit perfectly, feel so soft and are GOOD LOOKING!! I've been showing them off a few times now, but since Spring is coming, the weather is too warm to wear those beautiful gloves!!! You should make yourself a pair!
